Day one

I feel like I have started the holiday already! I'm typing this on a plane heading back to Christchurch from my meeting in Dunedin, listening to Bob Marley singing everything's going to be all right. All in flight mode of course! Just a few random emails and papers to sort out at work and then it really will be into flight mode!

Got talking to a nice young man beside me on the plane who was playing a game on his iPhone, so I showed him Chopper 2 and he was very impressed. He said he spent 6 months in Dunedin and 6 months in England playing cricket. I asked him who he played for and he said Otago and the Black Caps! So I asked him his name and he said Aaron Redmond, and I even recognized the name.

Anyway, now there are no more sleeps to go and we are sitting having a coffee (without the shot of Swiss almond chocolate) with an hour to go before Marty comes to pick us up. We are mostly packed and ready to go and Graham has his lovely stockings on!

Now at the airport - yesterday it was a black cap, today it's the Crusaders! We are surrounded by them! Took a sneaky pic of Dan Carter.... Not sure if you can tell it's him but believe me it is!


It's really hot in here, Graham says it's coz of all the rugby boys.
